Gordon Everett

Gordon and his wife Barbara were part of the team that started SCC, so this church is very near to their hearts. They’ve been in the Northwest since 1989. He is a Midwest transplant. She grew up in Portland and graduated Seattle Pacific University in nursing. They met in southern California on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ. Married for over 25 years, they have three fabulous kids.

Gordon (grad of Iowa State University, International School of Theology, and University of California), loves teaching and helping people discover the Jesus of the Bible. His major responsibilities are outreach, missions, newcomers, and helping people find where they fit at SCC. He loves reading, music (about any kind), running, hiking and climbing mountains, road-biking, and other sports, as well as woodworking and spending time with his family. Barb is deeply into Women’s ministries, music, and speaking at MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) groups around the region.
