Steve Jespersen

Steve is a native of the Seattle area. He and his wife Jean moved back to the Pacific Northwest in 2009 after being on church pastoral teams in California, North Carolina, and Chicago. Steve graduated from Inglemoor High in Bothell then attended Prairie Bible College in Alberta, Canada. Following graduation, he went on to Seattle Pacific University to get a teaching degree. After teaching for 3 years, Steve led a mission’s trip to the Philippines, where he met Jean. They wed while he attended graduate school at Eastern Washington University, and have two children: JD and Lauren.

Steve eventually became the children’s pastor at Westminster Chapel in Bellevue and then served in similar capacities in CA, NC and IL. His most recent position was an Area Pastor at Willow Creek Church in Illinois. If you want to know what that is, just ask him. Steve loves sports and formerly coached basketball and soccer. He is an avid Husky fan and loves to be around water (boating, skiing, etc...).
