Lead Pastor at Snohomish Community Church

Wayne moved to Snohomish County in March 2006 from Austin, Texas. His greatest thrill is proclaiming the truth of God’s Word in a way that promotes a passionate whole life commitment to Jesus Christ. At SCC he serves as the primary teaching Pastor, oversees the leadership development process, and works to articulate the church vision developed in conjunction with the Elders. He loves working within a team ministry structure.

Wayne received his B.A. in Communications from the University of Memphis and a Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. Before coming to SCC his ministry experience included stints as a solo Pastor, Singles Pastor, and most aspects of Adult Ministries. He has served in churches as small as 75 and as large as 4,000.

Wayne is married to Ali and they have three great kids: Stephen, Juliana, and Spencer. In his spare time, Wayne enjoys reading, fishing, and is a general sports enthusiast!
