Serving

We partner with Youth for Christ each fall for a one day two-county-wide youth serving day. In one day, over 700 teenagers representing 50 churches will come together to complete 55 service projects. It truly is love in action! (Matt 25:35-40)

Similar to City Serve, our church takes lead on this outreach day in late spring to unite all ages of believers together to serve Snohomish County. In 2010, over 700 volunteers worked and completed 65 community projects. Our youth were involved in 15 of these projects

This week long, local mission trip was born out of our student leaders’ trips to the Los Angeles Dream Center., where over 15 years of local missions focus to the East LA community has brought about a movement of local outreach groups reaching up to 40,000 people per month via donations of food and clothing, job training and healthcare, educational programs, parenting classes, and after-school programs.

After visiting and working in the Dream Center, our students and leaders came home with a passion to partner with churches and apply the same principles of the Dream Center to our own back door in the Northwest.
